Installation and Commissioning

Despite installation of Teleonix RTUs being relatively simple the installation and commissioning process of such devices must be undertaken with great care to ensure full functionality when in operation. Mistakes at this stage in the process will ultimately cost money.

Following receipt of a new order requirement you will be forwarded a short but simple equipment survey to help with the set up of the RTUs hardware and software configuration. It will also enable us to offer your company guidelines before commissioning.

Once the sensor equipment (e.g. pH probes or load cells) is connected to the RTU inputs via screw terminals, engineers will perform remote functionality tests on the chosen network communications, input channel signals, data processing, data logging and pre-agreed alarm parameters. Each standard RTU can routinely accommodate up to15 analogue or digital inputs.

It is likely that for multi device installation then an engineer would attend to either undertake and or monitor the installation process.

All initial and any ongoing software programming is undertaken remotely.
